This service facilitates the electronic signature of a contract by multiple parties, with certification of contextual telematic information: the signed document, IP address, personalized access URL, and the date and time of the signature. It is also possible to include additional data such as the signers’ national identification numbers, as well as upload an image file of their handwritten signature.

We use an advanced electronic signature

The handwritten electronic signature process—also referred to as biometric or digitized signature—not only captures the signer’s personal signature graph as an identifying element, but also includes additional data that helps verify their identity. This includes:

• Accessing the signing page via a personal link sent to their email address or phone number

• Recording the IP address from which the signature was made

The electronic signature process using a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS to the signer’s phone number is also considered an advanced signature, as it includes identifying information about the signer—particularly in countries where it is not possible to obtain a mobile phone number without verifying the owner’s identity.

Once credits are acquired to sign documents, you need to go to "Certify" to "Signature". There you will be asked for some fields to fill out. The document title will be the reference name of the document and the information that the other signers will receive in the mail that will be sent to them. In the text of the document you can include any type of contract that will be what the parties will sign. A maximum of twelve signers may be added per document* and an email will be sent to the addresses specified. Each signer will receive the email with a link that, when visiting, will show the document to be signed.

After accepting the conditions it will be enough to press the sign button to open a box in which, by means of the mouse or the screen of a mobile touch device, the corresponding signature can be drawn. If instead of the handwritten signature the option to sign by SMS was marked, a phone number will be requested to which a personalized numerical code will be sent**. It is recommended to always check the name and include national identification data. Once all the parties have signed the document, a new email will be sent to everyone with the address from which the Safe Creative certificate can be downloaded, according to the terms and conditions platform, with the contract and the signatures of the parties.

Types of electronic signatures

An electronic signature is defined as the electronic data attached to an electronic document or procedure as a means of authentication.
The legal framework regulating electronic signatures in the European Union, known as
eIDAS (Regulation No. 910/2014) defines three types of legally valid electronic signatures (1) .




Simple electronic signature.

It provides a simple means of authentication and willingness to sign, based on the signatory's own manifestation.
Asking the signatory for his/her pin number or checking a checkbox are examples of simple electronic signatures.

Advanced electronic signature.

It is an electronic signature that meets the following requirements:

• It is uniquely linked to the signatory.
• It allows the signatory to be identified.
• It has been created using means that the signatory can keep under his/her exclusive control.
• It is attached to the electronic document or procedure so that any subsequent modification is detectable.

Qualified electronic signature.

This is an electronic signature which, in addition to the requirements for advanced signatures, is created by means of a qualified device for creating electronic signatures and which is based on a qualified electronic signature certificate.

OTP SMS signature process description

The OTP SMS signature platform shows the signatory the document to be signed and to execute the signature, it asks for his phone number.
The system that manages the signature platform sends an OTP code (One Time Password) by SMS that the signatory must type in the platform to complete the signing process.

The OTP SMS signature is an advanced signature:

• It is uniquely linked to the signatory, in all countries where a cell phone number cannot be obtained without a process of verification of the user's identity by the telephone service operator.
• It allows the signatory to be identified. The telephone number is for the signatory's personal use.
• It is created using means that the signatory can keep under his/her exclusive control. Both signature request, for having been sent to the e-mail of the signatory, such as the SMS code, and because it was sent to the signatory's phone, are under your exclusive control.
• It is linked to the signed data so that any subsequent modification can be detected. By means of the signature electronic and time stamping made by the Safe Stamper signature platform of the signed document together with the technological evidence recorded by the signature process.

Digitized signature.

The electronic signature processes in which the user provides the image of his holographic signature meet the requirements of the simple signature and can also be advanced signature processes if the information collected and linked to the signature process, in addition to the image of the holographic signature of the signatory, also includes data to cover the requirements of the advanced electronic signature.

Unique link to the signatory. For example, if the access to perform the signature is received exclusively by the signatory through a unique link in the signatory's e-mail.

• It allows the signatory to be identified: through information such as the ownership of the email address used to facilitate access to the signature, or the IP address from which it is carried out.
• It is created using means that the signatory can keep under his exclusive control. By the signature process that sends the petition to the signatory's e-mail.
• It is linked to the signed data so that any subsequent modification can be detected. By means of the signature electronic and time stamping made by the Safe Stamper signature platform of the signed document together with the technological evidence recorded by the signature process.
